   Drawing

    

Drawing is my first love.  I work with a wide variety of drawing media, but I have a special affinity for powdered charcoal, a uniquely versatile medium that is ideally suited to the atmosphere and textures of landscape.  I apply powder with a variety of brushes, tools, and techniques developed through years of experimentation. All of the drawings shown in this section were created with powdered charcoal.
